Day1:Basics Of Kannada

KANNADA

Kannada is a very beautiful and simple language which is spoken predominantly by Kannada people in South India, mainly in the state of Karnataka, which has population of more than 6 crore and Kannada is also spoken in the neighboring states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Kerala and Maharashtra. Kannada has its own script derived from dravida and its script is almost similar to telugu script. Kannada script also used to write Tulu language which is mainly spoken in Mangalore District of Karnataka and Konkani language in Uttara Kannada district. Kannada language is rich in literature which has got 8 Jnanapita awards which is the highest award given in field of literature in India.The oldest living language in the world is Kannada,which is nearly 2,500 years old and is the official language of the State of Karnataka,India.

Train your brain to live using your target language(Kannada)

Right now, your brain knows that it should be using your target language in specific situations, like when reading a textbook, watching a subtitled movie or chatting with a conversation partner. Now it’s time to train your brain to use that target language constantly in everyday life.

Keep language fresh and current in your mind 

Watching Kannada movies (preferably with subtitles), can be of great help. This is an important and entertaining way to improve your language skills
